Job summary

Apple Inc. Austin is seeking a senior analytics engineer to design and run end-to-end analytics products for HR. You will model data in Snowflake, develop Python backends and APIs, and build dashboards that surface actionable insights for leadership.

You will deploy reports, optimize data schemas, and automate ETL across Linux infrastructure while using agentic AI coding tools to accelerate delivery with strict quality checks and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years building analytics products and reports.
• Deep SQL and Snowflake design, queries and ETL pipelines.
• Python backend, APIs and data processing automation.
• Linux server operations and containerization experience.
• Experience with agentic AI coding tools and parallel sessions.
• Ability to validate data against live systems and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy analytics reports, dashboards across the employee lifecycle.
• Build and optimize data models, schemas and Snowflake views.
• Develop Python backends, APIs and web frontends powering internal tools.
• Build and operate ETL pipelines between Snowflake and operational databases.
• Automate build, containerization, deployment and config mgmt on Linux infra.
• Deliver with agentic AI coding tools while ensuring code quality.
• Define metrics, validate figures against source data before release.
• Maintain documentation and context for large reporting estate.
• Collaborate with People Analytics and tech teams on analytics solutions.
• Occasional meetings outside normal hours; regular travel not required.
