Ladders is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Analytics & Applied AI) to build and operate data platforms across ingestion, transformation, and analytics, ensuring reliable, auditable foundations that support both analytical workflows and application serving.

You will partner with stakeholders to design cloud-based pipelines on AWS, enforce data quality, and make independent architectural decisions that scale and increase trust in the data environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data engineering or software engineering with production systems.
• Strong production-quality Python skills.
• Expertise in SQL with complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data and compute stack.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CDK).

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Analytics & Applied AI) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will shape and support the organization’s data platforms across ingestion, transformation, and analytics use cases. The position focuses on building reliable, auditable data foundations that support both analytical workflows and application-serving needs. The ideal candidate will partner with technical stakeholders to design cloud-based pipelines, strengthen data quality, and make independent architectural decisions that improve scalability and trust in the data environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $113,000 - $188,000 annually
