Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Sr Data Engineer to build and scale the governed data foundation for Operations, North America. You will deliver production-ready pipelines, curated datasets, and AI-ready data products to support reporting and AI insight initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field with equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of data engineering or analytics engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for pipelines and data processing.
• Experience with Azure data services and Fabric/Lakehouse patterns.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines on Azure.
• Develop batch and incremental data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Lakehouse patterns.
• Create curated lakehouse datasets and semantic model inputs for governance and AI needs.
• Implement Spark-based transformations to produce analytics-ready datasets.
• Own assigned pipelines, monitor performance, and provide production support.
• Collaborate with IT Global, SMEs, and governance partners to ensure secure, reusable data products.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and platform improvement initiatives.
