Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Denver, CO is seeking a MidLevel Data Engineer to help build, operate, and scale our enterprise data platform. This on-site role requires ownership of data pipelines and datasets with minimal ramp-up, collaborating with senior data engineers and business partners to deliver production-ready solutions for analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled use cases.

You will design PySpark pipelines on the Azure data platform, implement Data Factory orchestrations, and ensure data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of data engineering or analytics engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python for data pipelines.
• Strong SQL querying and data processing skills.
• Experience with Azure data services (Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Data Factory).
• Experience with source control and CI/CD (GitHub or Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with data modeling and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Excellent communication and cross‑team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure.
• Develop batch and incremental pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
• Implement Spark-based transformations and write to ADLS Gen2.
• Create SQL views/tables in Azure Synapse for analytics.
• Monitor pipelines and resolve data quality issues.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Review code, push PRs, and update runbooks.
