Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is hiring a Data Scientist in Denver to advance analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making across North America. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Capacity Planning, Finance, and Sustainability teams to forecast, optimize energy, and improve reliability.

The role requires 5–8+ years in data science with Python, SQL, and ML frameworks, plus experience deploying models into production and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 5-8+ years of experience in data science, ML, and software engineering.
• Experience with Full Stack AI development and deployment.
• Experience with large-scale operational datasets preferred.
• Background in predictive modeling, time-series forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization.
• Experience with Azure and Databricks.
• Familiarity with data center operations or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive and prescriptive models for forecasting, capacity planning, energy optimization, and reliability analysis.
• Identify high-value analytic opportunities across Operations, Engineering, and Customer Experience.
• Build scalable machine learning pipelines that integrate with enterprise data platforms.
• Evaluate model performance and implement continuous improvement mechanisms.
• Ensure analytical models align with enterprise data architecture and governance standards.
• Integrate models into operational workflows (planning, incident response, capacity forecasting).
• Define KPIs and governance for model validation and business impact.
