Babylist is seeking a senior data engineer to own architecture and scalable data tooling. You will build agentic systems and ML pipelines, partnering with analysts and data scientists to enable reliable data infrastructure for a fast-growing platform.

We value production-grade engineering in AWS, Airflow, and dbt, with Snowflake and data modeling expertise. This remote-first team supports a 9M+ user base and AI-driven workflows daily.

Qualifications

• Experience building production AI/LLM systems and agentic workflows.
• Platform-minded with ability to automate repetitive data engineering tasks.
• 7+ years building scalable data systems in production environments.
• Proficient with Airflow and dbt; strong data modeling and ETL understanding.
• Comfortable with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS) and Snowflake or similar.
• Able to translate analyst/scientist needs into robust infrastructure.
• A strong AI-oriented contributor who applies AI to speed up work.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale data pipelines for Snowflake ingestion with reliability.
• Design agentic systems to automate data engineering tasks.
• Develop ML pipelines to operationalize models within data infra.
• Improve data monitoring across multi-system journeys.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers on data modeling and assets.
• Partner with product, analyst, and ML teams for end-to-end solutions.
