Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III in Plano, TX to join the Commercial & Investment Bank - Digital & Platforms Services team. You will design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines and data products, working with Databricks, Python, and modern data tooling.

The role involves collaborating with senior engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver secure, reliable data solutions, and to advance AI-enabled capabilities in analytics, reporting, and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Databricks and distributed data processing technologies.
• Strong programming skills and data engineering fundamentals.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with evaluation of outputs for correctness and security.
• Awareness of responsible AI use and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support data pipelines and data products using modern data engineering practices.
• Build and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes on Databricks and related platform technologies.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding standards.
• Apply SDLC tools and CI/CD concepts to improve automation and value realization.
• Ensure data quality, validation, monitoring, and observability across pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
