Job summary

Cohere is hiring a Data Engineer to help build production-grade data processing systems for AI applications. You will collaborate with researchers and engineers, delivering end-to-end data solutions that power customer-facing experiences and inform product strategy.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL skills, and familiarity with Beam/Spark/Flink, BigQuery, and Airflow. This is a remote-friendly, full-time role with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with production-grade data processing systems.
• Strong command of Python and SQL.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Beam, Spark, Flink).
• Transform unstructured data into performant relational/blob datasets.
• Familiar with BigQuery, Airflow or dbt.
• Knowledge of Java or Golang is a plus; Kubernetes is a bonus.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and hands-on experimentation.
