Job summary

The Aspen Group (TAG) is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-native data pipelines powering business insights across multiple brands. You will mentor others, champion data governance, and partner with cross-functional teams to implement scalable data solutions using dbt Cloud, Python, Airflow, and Google BigQuery.

We seek 3+ years in senior data engineering, strong SQL/Python/dbt skills, and hands-on GCP experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Sr data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, dbt, and Airflow.
• Hands-on experience designing scalable, cost-efficient data platforms in Google Cloud (GCP).
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, ELT architectures, and distributed computing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data pipelines and platform infrastructure across multi-brand data platforms.
• Develop dbt models, tests, and documentation.
• Own data governance, quality, security, and compliance across pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
