Job summary

The Aspen Group (TAG) is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to develop data extraction and transformation pipelines using GCP tools such as BigQuery and Google Colab. You will optimize SQL queries, design data models, and integrate Google Analytics data to drive business insights.

You will collaborate with data scientists and business analysts, build interactive dashboards, and document analytics methodologies and code.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform including BigQuery.
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis.
Experience with collaborative data analysis in Google Colab.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement robust data extraction and transformation processes using GCP tools like BigQuery and Google Colab.
Optimize SQL queries and BigQuery jobs in Google Colab to enhance performance and reduce latency.
Design and implement data models in Google Colab aligned with business requirements.
Integrate and leverage Google Analytics data in Google Colab for user behavior insights.
Use Python to enhance data analysis, automate processes, and data pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand analytical requirements and deliver insights.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools in Google Colab and other platforms.
Ensure data accuracy and reliability through monitoring, validation, and troubleshooting of pipelines.
Document data processes, analytics methodologies, and Python code for knowledge sharing.
