Job summary

The Aspen Group (TAG) is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to develop data extraction and transformation pipelines using GCP tools such as BigQuery and Google Colab. You will optimize SQL queries, design data models, and integrate Google Analytics data to drive business insights.

You will collaborate with data scientists and business analysts, build interactive dashboards, and document analytics methodologies and code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform including BigQuery.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis.
• Experience with collaborative data analysis in Google Colab.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools in Google Colab and other platforms to present data-driven insights to key stakeholders.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data through continuous monitoring, validation, and troubleshooting of data pipelines.
• Document data processes, analytics methodologies, and Python code to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain a comprehensive data repository.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to analytics, GCP tools, Python, and Google Colab to continually enhance skills and contribute to the team's success.
