Job summary

Adoreal Inc. seeks a Senior Data Engineer to lead architecture decisions for our warehouse and curated data layer. You will shape a semantic metric repository, enforce data lineage, and craft rules-based configuration for every practice setup.

You will collaborate closely with data engineers, build a foundational gold layer, and extend pipelines with AI-driven quality checks. You will also drive migrations from legacy processes toward repeatable platform-driven workflows, enable AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering and end-to-end warehouse ownership.
• Deep SQL and Python; production experience on a modern cloud data warehouse.
• Experience with Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery or Databricks.
• Experience designing dimensional or Data Vault models in production.
• Data quality testing and observability in pipelines (dbt tests, GE) and AI tooling usage.
• Experience with orchestration and IaC on AWS (Airflow, Terraform).
• AI integration in data platform, e.g., LLM classification or natural language querying.

Responsibilities

• Own the target architecture for the warehouse and the curated layer.
• Design the semantic layer as a single metric repository with clear definitions.
• Set naming, labeling, and lineage standards for data.
• Build configuration models for practice-specific business rules.
• Pair with data engineers daily and review work to teach and improve.
• Create a gold layer and baseline report library for patient journey metrics.
• Extend pipelines with tests to catch schema drift and ensure data quality.
• Ingest unstructured clinical records into structured warehouse form.
