Job summary

Empower Pharmacy is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the data foundation across our 503A/503B operations, delivering AI-enabled data products, pipelines, and governance. You will drive architecture, model design, and automation to enable faster decisions and scalable growth in a highly regulated pharmacy environment.

The role emphasizes end-to-end data engineering, including architecture, integration, validation, and performance optimization, with mentorship across the team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering experience in cloud platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; equivalent experience considered.
• Deep AWS serverless, SQL, Python, and data warehousing skills; production support.
• Experience designing governed data solutions in regulated environments; healthcare/pharma exposure is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable cloud data platform architecture for analytics and regulatory reporting.
• Develop relational and dimensional data models for trusted analytics.
• Define engineering standards for pipelines, observability, and deployment.
