Job summary

Bloomberg seeks a Senior Data Management Professional (DMP) – Data Engineering in Princeton, NJ to lead the evolution of Equity Corporate Actions data products. You will craft scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, architect robust data models, and deploy intelligent automation to ingest and transform structured and unstructured data at scale.

You’ll work with AI/LLMs, HITL workflows, and observability tools while collaborating across Product, Engineering, and Data Science to deliver robust data solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in production.
• Advanced Python (Pandas, PySpark) and SQL/NoSQL skills.
• Hands-on AI/LLMs experience for document processing and extraction.
• Experience with modern data stacks: orchestration, streaming, distributed computing, object storage.
• Strong data modeling and schema design, with analytics focus.
• Excellent problem-solving, numerical ability, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver high-volume financial data using Python, SQL, and enterprise data technologies.
• Develop robust data architectures and automated ingestion frameworks supporting structured and unstructured data.
• Leverage AI/LLMs and NLP to extract, normalize, and enrich Corporate Actions data from diverse sources.
• Implement HITL workflows and data quality frameworks to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop monitoring, data quality dashboards, and SLA reporting for data integrity.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products.
