Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior data engineering leader to design, govern, and scale data and knowledge foundations that support AI and agentic capabilities across Network Services. You will define standards, guardrails, and reusable assets for model readiness and trusted AI.

Partner with product experts to align data strategy with network technologies, lead data pipelines, quality controls, and CI/CD for data platforms, and mentor engineers to deliver reliable, scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data engineering experience with leadership in enterprise data platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Deep expertise in data integration, pipeline development, and large-scale data processing.
• Strong experience implementing data quality frameworks and automated validation.
• Advanced knowledge of data modeling, metadata, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with data governance, lineage, and control frameworks.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML data requirements and data readiness practices.
• Proven ability to design solutions for scalable, high-performance analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assembles large, complex data sets meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Makes data architecture feasible and aligns with client requirements.
• Builds data pipelines enabling data-informed decisions with proper release controls.
• Contributes to test suites and analyzes results to triage issues.
• Leads data governance improvements and research new tooling.
• Mentors Data Engineers in CI/CD delivery and KPIs.
