Job summary

T-Mobile seeks a data engineering leader to design and develop data architectures spanning on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will collaborate with data engineers to build data warehouses and analytics solutions, mentor the team, and advance data infrastructure to enable data-driven decisions.

Requirements include a 5+ year track record in data engineering, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), SQL/NoSQL databases, and strong Python/Java/Scala/Go skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• 4–7 years developing cloud solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP.
• 4–7 years hands-on development and migration to cloud platforms.
• 4–7 years experience in SQL/NoSQL relational design and development.
• 4–7 years building complex data pipelines with Python and languages such as SQL, Java, Scala, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Develop data engineering solutions enabling data pipelines, visualization, and analytics.
• Design data architectures across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid platforms for scalable infrastructure.
• Perform data wrangling, exploration, and discovery for new insights.
• Mentor team members to enhance data engineering skills.
• Assist management in project scoping, estimating, and planning.
