About Your Contributions:

You have 8+ years of data system design and hands-on development experience in data-related positions including deep understanding in data warehouses, data lakes, data modeling, ETL/ELT, query and data optimization, relational and non-relational databases, knowledge of database architectures, indexing, performance tuning, and data engineering design patterns inclusive of structured and unstructured data, across many frameworks and languages

You have expertise in database performance monitoring and optimization, understanding of execution plans, caching mechanisms, and partitioning. You have experience and familiarity in creating and managing database backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, high availability solutions, along with replication, clustering, and load-balancing techniques.

You have seen many projects through from end-to-end and had a major role in its creation, development, and maintenance, working with high performing engineering teams, including both onshore and offshore resources.

You listen, communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and provide solutions with actionable plans, being able to mentor others from many levels

You care deeply about customer privacy, data, design, and quality

You have strong analytical skills, problem solving, and a results-driven mindset

You have a good understanding of Data Engineering domain and future roadmap, including knowledge of industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, or PCI-DSS

Pay Range

Salary: Remote: $165,000.00 - $200,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
