Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Remote in LATAM

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help us build scalable, reliable, and high-performance data infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing and implementing data pipelines, managing large-scale datasets, and enabling advanced analytics and machine learning across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines

Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and product teams to define data needs

Optimize data architectures for performance, reliability, and scalability

Build and maintain data models and integrations using cloud-native tools

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues in production environments

Guide and mentor junior data engineers and promote best practices

What We are Looking For

5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field

Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java

Hands-on experience with modern data stack technologies (e.g., Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka)

Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure

Experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)

Solid understanding of SQL and distributed systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

Experience with streaming data architectures

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Background in analytics or machine learning environments
