About the job

The GTM Data Engineering team at Twilio supports stakeholders ranging from Sales Systems to Marketing. Our team provides a robust data foundation that allows business partners to build sophisticated automations powering their verticals.

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and maintain data infrastructure that powers Twilio’s sales operations, connecting our GTM systems with our data lake and enabling data-driven decision-making across our sales organization. Responsibilities include designing robust data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration between sales platforms and analytics infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with engineers, business partners, and data scientists to build scalable data infrastructure.
  2. Design and implement data pipelines integrating Salesforce and other sales data into our data lake.
  3. Build automated solutions for sales data quality, enrichment, and standardization.
  4. Create and maintain data models for sales analytics, forecasting, and reporting.
  5. Design and manage reverse ETL pipelines for sales operations and marketing automation.
  6. Partner with AI/ML engineers to develop sales predictive and generative models.
  7. Architect solutions for real-time sales data synchronization and processing.
  8. Optimize data flows between Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS Athena, and other systems.
  9. Build monitoring and alerting systems for data pipelines.
  10. Collaborate with Sales Operations to automate manual processes and improve data accuracy.
  11. Create documentation and enable self-service for sales teams.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing scalable data pipelines, preferably for sales organizations.
  • Proven record of delivering large-scale data projects and collaborating with business partners.
  • Experience with big data frameworks like Apache Spark.
  • Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Salesforce data architecture and APIs.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
  • Experience with data modeling in Snowflake using dbt.
  • Experience building distributed systems in AWS or similar cloud providers.
  • Knowledge of LLMs and AI technologies.
Location

This role is remote, based in Colombia.

Travel

Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings or project collaboration.
