IT Job Board - Tech Jobs Portal in USA in San Antonio seeks a senior Data Engineer to own Snowflake-based data warehousing and dbt-driven ELT development. You will design scalable pipelines, optimize performance, and implement CI/CD for dbt, with strong SQL and cost controls.

You will collaborate with cloud security, Git versioning, and DevOps practices, lead design reviews, and mentor offshore colleagues to ensure delivery in a mixed onsite-offshore setup.

• Hands-on expertise in Snowflake-based cloud data warehousing and modern ELT development using dbt (Core or Cloud), with deep proficiency in advanced SQL, incremental and snapshot strategies, performance tuning, and cost optimization in Snowflake.
• The candidate must have experience designing scalable, production-grade ELT pipelines, implementing CI/CD for dbt, integrating orchestration tools, and enforcing data quality through automated testing and observability frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and security in Snowflake, version control (Git), and DevOps-driven deployment practices is required, along with demonstrated experience leading technical design reviews and mentoring data engineering teams and work in onsite-offshore model mentoring the offshore members to drive delivery.
