Job summary

Atyeti is seeking a senior data engineer in the Princeton, NJ area to lead data warehousing initiatives. You will design and optimize Snowflake-based pipelines, craft advanced SQL queries, and automate workflows with dbt and Airflow or Prefect.

Collaboration with cloud and data teams will be essential to deliver scalable data solutions. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of experience, strong Snowflake knowledge, and proficiency in Python for automation, with a solid foundation in version control

Qualifications

• 8+ years of dedicated data engineering or data warehousing experience.
• Strong Snowflake architecture knowledge including resource monitors, zero-copy cloning, and time travel.
• Advanced SQL writing skills (window functions, complex joins) and intermediate Python for automation.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and cloud orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect.
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 8+ years of dedicated data engineering or data warehousing experience.


• Snowflake Expertise: Strong command of Snowflake architecture, resource monitors, zero-copy cloning, and time travel.


• SQL & Programming: Advanced SQL writing skills (window functions, complex joins, query profiles) alongside intermediate Python for automation.


• Modern Tooling: Hands-on experience with dbt and cloud orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect).


• Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of at least one major cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
