Job summary

Terros Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and a comprehensive data warehouse ecosystem. You will ensure data quality, governance, and timely delivery to clinical and operational teams.

You will work with HL7/FHIR standards, APIs, and healthcare data formats, partnering across IT and business units to translate complex needs into robust, scalable solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or math; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in data engineering or data architecture.
  • Experience with HL7, FHIR, APIs, SFTP and healthcare data integration.

Responsibilities

  • Leads design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Builds and optimizes enterprise data warehouse structures for analytics and operations.
  • Implements data models and ensures data quality, lineage, and governance.
  • Collaborates with clinical and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Mentors juniors and peers; supports cross-functional initiatives.

Our mission is to provide extraordinary care by empowered people through exceptional outcomes.The Senior Data Engineer plays a critical role within the Business Intelligence team, designing, building, and maintaining scalable data architecture and data integration solutions that support clinical, operational, and strategic initiatives across Terros Health.This role is responsible for developing and optimizing enterprise data pipelines and data warehouse structures, ensuring high data quality, integrity, and accessibility. The Senior Data Engineer partners closely with business leaders, analysts, and IT teams to translate complex business needs into sustainable data solutions that drive informed decision-making and improved patient outcomes.The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the types of work that may be performed.
