Job summary

A dynamic technology company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to enhance data processes and architecture in an international team. Job description

• As a (Senior) Data Engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the flawless implementation and improvement of the company's future data processes and architecture
• You will work closely with their group of data analysts, ensure the integration of business-relevant data into the data lake and thus actively contribute to promoting data-based decisions in the company
• You focus on innovative, cloud-based services and automation concepts
• You are a mentor and strengthen your colleagues through methods of mutual learning (e.g. pair programming) and the exchange of best practices
• You provide impetus for the identificationand implementation of new methods, technologies and trends and thus contribute to improving the scalability and performance of our infrastructure

Requirements

• You have gained practical experience in modern data processing and analysis frameworks such as Apache Spark
• You have extensive knowledge of Scala, Python or Java as well as a deep understanding of SQL and ETL processes
• You are familiar with data warehousing and cloud-based architecture and orchestration solutions such as Airflow
• You enjoy working in an agile environment that is characterized by an international team and intercultural exchange
• You act in a solution-oriented manner, have an eye for detail and can communicate your procedures and results in an understandable way
• You are business fluent in English
