Job description
As a (Senior) Data Engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the flawless implementation and improvement of the company's future data processes and architecture
You will work closely with their group of data analysts, ensure the integration of business-relevant data into the data lake and thus actively contribute to promoting data-based decisions in the company
You focus on innovative, cloud-based services and automation concepts
You are a mentor and strengthen your colleagues through methods of mutual learning (e.g. pair programming) and the exchange of best practices
You provide impetus for the identificationand implementation of new methods, technologies and trends and thus contribute to improving the scalability and performance of our infrastructure
Requirements:
You have gained practical experience in modern data processing and analysis frameworks such as Apache Spark
You have extensive knowledge of Scala, Python or Java as well as a deep understanding of SQL and ETL processes
You are familiar with data warehousing and cloud-based architecture and orchestration solutions such as Airflow
You enjoy working in an agile environment that is characterized by an international team and intercultural exchange
You act in a solution-oriented manner, have an eye for detail and can communicate your procedures and results in an understandable way
You are business fluent in English
