Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development, data/ML engineering, data science, BI engineering or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, MIS, Mathematics or Statistics or related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Experience with data technologies, ETL, data quality, BI/analytics tools, and machine learning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements definition, design, testing, and implementation of new data delivery and analytic capabilities for Payments Operations.
• Define data metadata, systems of record, data quality rules, data flows, and apply firm-wide standards and controls.
• Create conceptual/logical models and inform physical data designs; consult enterprise models.
• Profile, wrangle, and prepare data; write data transformation logic in Python, PySpark or SQL.
• Analyze business processes to determine data needs and data fitness for use.
• Research emerging technologies and document their applicability to business use cases.
• Collaborate with data analytics and product owner staff to optimize solutions and foster new ideas.
• Work with Tech, Product and CIB data partners to research, define, and implement use cases.
