Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a remote role with eligibility in Florida. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and enable data engineers to deploy rapidly across AWS and Azure.

You will build Terraform-based IaC, develop Python automation, and implement observability to ensure reliable deployments. Prior experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps, and containerized workflows is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 4+ years in DevOps, data tech, or cloud platforms, or HS diploma with 8+ years.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and IaC frameworks.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate enterprise CI/CD pipelines across environments with GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Provision and manage IaC frameworks for cloud and data infra using Terraform.
• Develop Python scripts for automation and integrations between CI/CD and cloud services.
• Implement monitoring and logging with Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch for reliability.
