Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Senior Data Delivery Expert to design data solutions enabling precision marketing to HCPs. You will collaborate with brand teams, marketers, data scientists, and omni-channel strategists to build cloud-based data sets and visualizations that improve engagement with HCP targets.

In Digital Brand Teams, you will own data engineering and data science model deployment, driving insights and scalable delivery in a hybrid work setting at AbbVie’s Mettawa, IL location.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, business analytics, quantitative life sciences, or related field with 2 years in data engineering or similar role.
• Alternate Bachelor’s with 5 years in data engineering or similar role in a commercial biopharma environment with 5 years for listed items.

Responsibilities

• Develop data solutions to enable precision marketing to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Collaborate with brand representatives, marketers, data scientists and omni-channel strategists to gather requirements and develop cloud-based integrated data sets and visualizations.
• Serve as a key member in Digital Brand Teams responsible for data engineering and data science model operationalization.

Job Description

Senior Data Delivery Expert (US Commercial Business Technology Solutions), AbbVie Inc., Mettawa, IL. Hybrid (onsite 3 days a week/ 2 days WFH/remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop data solutions aimed to enable precision marketing to HCP’s (healthcare practitioners/professionals).


• Work w/brand representatives, marketers, data scientists & omni-channel strategists to gather requirements & develop cloud-based solutions of integrated data sets & visualizations to help AbbVie more effectively engage w/ HCP targets.


• Work directly in Digital Brand Teams as a critical team member responsible for all data engineering & data science model operationalization.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must have a Master's in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, business analytics, quantitative life sciences, or related field & 2 years of work experience as a data engineer, systems engineer, or similar role in a commercial biopharma environment with each of the following:

• extracting & combining multiple internal & external data sets;


• onboarding, consolidating, cleansing, & structuring data for efficient use in reports, analytical applications, & machine learning models;


• pressure-testing data requirements to ensure accurate & meaningful data delivery;


• performing data analysis & reconciliation on datasets of varying sizes & complexities;


• compiling, presenting & explaining data, in writing & orally, to business stakeholders, peers & senior management; &


• utilizing data analysis programming languages.

Alternatively, would accept a Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, business analytics, quantitative life sciences, or related field & 5 years of work experience as a data engineer, systems engineer, or similar role in a commercial biopharma environment. Of the experience required, must have 5 years with each of the following:

• extracting & combining multiple internal & external data sets;

Additional Information

Salary Range: $139,818 - $162,000 per year.
