Job summary

Trility Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Data Consultant to modernize an Azure Synapse data platform, migrate workloads to Microsoft Fabric, and build scalable data pipelines. You will work remotely with distributed teams, contribute to architecture decisions, and implement automated validation and CI/CD workflows.

The role emphasizes metadata-driven ingestion, data governance awareness, and collaboration with client engineers to maintain high engineering standards and deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Azure Data Services and Fabric in production.
• Hands-on Fabric production experience with lakehouses and pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Spark skills for data transformation and performance.
• Experience with CI/CD for data platforms and Git-based tooling.
• Ability to validate migrations and ensure data quality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine Microsoft Fabric architecture and metadata structures.
• Design a metadata-driven ingestion framework for config-based onboarding.
• Migrate workloads from Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop Fabric pipelines and PySpark notebooks; validate results.
• Implement CI/CD and automated environment promotion for Fabric artifacts.
• Collaborate with client engineers to establish engineering standards.
• Apply best practices for performance, testing, security, and ops.
