Job summary

Trility Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Consultant to modernize an Azure Synapse data platform and migrate workloads to Microsoft Fabric. You will work remotely with client engineers to design scalable data pipelines, establish automated CI/CD, and implement AI-assisted development using Claude Code.

This role emphasizes collaboration, governance, and repeatable patterns across a lakehouse environment. You will guide architecture decisions, develop metadata-driven ingestion, and ensure data

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Azure Data Services including Fabric, ADF, Databricks or Synapse.
• Production Fabric experience with lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks, medallion architecture.
• Strong SQL for transformation, validation, and performance tuning.
• Experience building metadata-driven ingestion frameworks and CI/CD for data platforms.
• Experience validating migrations and data quality across sources.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine Fabric architecture and metadata structures.
• Design a metadata-driven ingestion framework configurable via onboarding.
• Migrate data sources from Azure Synapse to Fabric and sustain pipelines.
• Develop Fabric data pipelines and Spark notebooks with PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Analyze pipelines to translate logic into Fabric solutions and ensure dependencies.
• Build data validation, reconciliation, and duplicate detection processes.
• Implement Git-based CI/CD and environment promotion for Fabric artifacts.
• Review AI-generated code with Claude Code for quality and maintainability.
