We are seeking a seasoned customer-facing consultant with established leadership skills to direct a diverse team of advisory and delivery talent. The role involves onsite, hands-on client engagement management, including the day-to-day running of client projects. These engagements typically span multiple practices within the Digital Solutions portfolio: Data, Cloud, Application Development, Agile, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will help teams thrive by guiding efforts, directing talents, and expanding knowledge and skills to deliver strategic solutions to clients. They act as on-the-ground leaders, directing work efforts, analyzing and reviewing proposals, providing appropriate solutions, and making decisions on the way forward, serving as liaisons between the client and the delivery team.

The focus is primarily on successful delivery, but the role also involves exploring other client needs and working with the team to create proposals to address them. Senior Consultants maintain close contact with clients throughout the project duration as part of their official duties.

Responsibilities

1. Client Delivery:
2. Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops.
3. Ensure that customer expectations are appropriately set and managed.
4. Lead technical project teams in delivering consulting service offerings.
5. Drive objectives, requirements gathering, project milestones, status updates, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful and timely delivery aligned with business objectives.
6. Break down problems into manageable segments, identify influencing factors, and determine approaches.
7. Oversee final editing and sign-off on project deliverables.
8. Present deliverables to client executive management.

Business Development:

1. Support business development pursuits through client discovery meetings to qualify opportunities and develop initial proposals.
2. Represent service offerings during sales cycles, including scoping, proposal development, and presenting to clients.
3. Develop and foster relationships with customers and present technical solutions to C-Level executives.

Practice Development & Thought Leadership:

1. Develop and enhance AHEAD's Advisory services offerings, including consulting and deployment services.
2. Act as a technology thought leader and evangelist.
3. Maintain broad knowledge of current and future IT marketplace trends, technologies, and standards.
4. Mentor team members to foster growth and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a senior IT leader overseeing transformative modernization initiatives (e.g., cloud adoption, data governance, automation, agile at scale).
• Senior-level consulting experience.
• Strong understanding of business measurement frameworks (e.g., OKRs).
• At least five years of executive technology consulting experience.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, good listening ability, and capacity to connect with diverse personalities.
• Executive presence.
• Experience as a technology change agent.
• MBA is a plus.

Compensation: $180,000 - $205,000 per year.

The indicated compensation range reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”), which includes base salary and potential bonus. This range may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
