Job summary

Daksta is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead data centre projects from inception to completion. You will ensure on-time delivery, within scope and budget, while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

You will develop plans, coordinate design, engineering, procurement and construction, manage stakeholders, monitor risks, and report to senior leadership. This role demands strong leadership, budget control, and regulatory compliance expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Proven experience in project management, with a focus on data centre or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale construction projects, including budget and schedule management.
• Strong knowledge of data centre design, construction, and operational requirements.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• A results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Leading the end-to-end management of data centre projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Managing relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in data centre construction and operations.
• Preparing and presenting regular project updates, reports, and performance metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
