Job summary

Daksta is seeking an experienced Superintendent for Data Centre projects to oversee construction from site initiation to handover. You will manage on-site teams, coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors, and ensure schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid background in large-scale infrastructure. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment on high-profile data centre initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, with data centre projects or large-scale infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Familiarity with data centre cooling, power distribution, and security protocols.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in construction safety and project management are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site meetings to coordinate activities and address challenges.
• Review and approve work completed by subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor site safety and ensure adherence to established protocols.
• Track project milestones and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets project specifications.
