Job summary

Daksta | Connecting Mission Critical Talent is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead mission-critical/data center developments across the United States. The role focuses on representing the owner’s interests from feasibility through turnover, guiding budgets, schedules, design, and procurement to deliver safe, efficient projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction, development, or program management.
• Experience delivering large-scale capital projects ($100M+).
• Background in hyperscale or data center environments.
• Experience on owner’s side as owner’s representative or in a PMO.
• PMP, CCM, LEED, or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership across multiple complex data center projects.
• Act as senior owner representative throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build relationships with clients, design professionals, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor project teams, creating a high-performing and collaborative environment.
• Establish governance, reporting processes, and performance expectations.
• Provide oversight of budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and commercial performance.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, potential delays, cost exposure, and delivery challenges.
• Lead contract negotiations and contractor selection, consultant procurement, and commercial decisions.
• Oversee development of master project schedules and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
• Coordinate between internal and external teams supporting data center delivery.
• Mentor and develop less experienced project professionals.
