First Quality Enterprises is hiring a Solution Engineer – Data Center Services to design, build, and deploy IT infrastructure in data centers and cloud environments. Remote role leveraging HCI, virtualization, storage, and OS platforms, working with Architecture and global teams to deliver secure, compliant solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in IT infrastructure, strong virtualization and AD skills, Linux/Windows experience, and proficiency with PowerShell, Terraform, and cloud

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10+ years of IT Infrastructure experience.
• Data Center and Server Infrastructure expertise including hardware and HCI.
• Strong virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
• Understanding of enterprise backup and data protection.
• Active Directory management and DNS/DHCP authentication.
• Windows Server OS 2016–2025; Linux server build/management.
• Scripting with PowerShell; knowledge of JSON, YAML, Terraform a plus.
• Security-focused by design in infrastructure solutions.
• Experience evaluating products for procurement; ITSM/ITIL knowledge.
• Familiar with on-premise and cloud security hardening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approved infrastructure projects and solutions.
• Create functional specs and low-level designs with architects.
• Develop high-quality infrastructure services meeting requirements.
• Create test plans and scripts; execute validation.
• Collaborate with Security teams to ensure posture aligns with standards.
• Produce technical documentation and release notes for operations.
• Plan, schedule, and manage projects; communicate effectively.
• Act as Level 3 escalation for services; provide ongoing support.
