Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Consultant for post-sales data center automation initiatives. The remote role focuses on design, deployment, upgrade, and migration within enterprise infrastructure and private clouds. You will lead projects, mentor engineers, and contribute to pre-/post-sales discussions.

The position emphasizes VMware VCF, automation tools like Ansible/Terraform, and strong scripting skills (PowerShell/PowerCLI/JavaScript) to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in solutions architecture or infrastructure roles with virtualization, storage fabrics, and servers.
• 5+ years with VMware products in enterprise settings.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-level design and implementation, including architecture analysis and system migrations.
• Lead design/implementation of VMware VCF, Aria Automation, Private AI Foundation, and related infra projects.
• Implement automation and IaC using Ansible, Terraform, and SaltStack.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship inside the team and in pre-/post-sales contexts.
• Stay current with industry trends and advise customers on adoption of offerings.
