Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to develop and deploy manufacturing test solutions for data center GPUs used in AI, ML, and HPC.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable scalable test strategies, diagnostics, and automation across distributed manufacturing sites. The role emphasizes hardware and software debug, Linux validation, and DFT-friendly test design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience in data center system-level testing and hardware validation.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing test strategies for new product features and test fixtures.
• Define scalable board- and system-level hardware test solutions and processes.
• Review designs to provide Design for Testability (DFT) recommendations.
• Develop test content, diagnostics, and automation using Python and scripting languages.
• Lead resolution of complex manufacturing issues and improve test efficiency.
