Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a Board Hardware Validation Engineer to lead end-to-end validation for Data Center GPU systems. You will stress-test baseboard signaling, PCIe, and system management to ensure robust integration for customers.

This hands-on role emphasizes debugging, signal integrity, and lab testing with analyzers and oscilloscopes. You will develop validation strategies and support AI/HPC product bring-up with design teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with board bring-up and system-level validation.
• Proficient in signal integrity, buses, protocols and systems design engineering.
• Experience with lab equipment like analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Responsabilidades

• Orchestrate development and implementation of validation strategies.
• Perform board measurements for signal integrity and functional validation.
• Focus on PCIe, HBM and firmware to identify vulnerabilities during integration.
• Create and execute validation test plans for functional and stress scenarios.
• Ensure compliance with standards and secure solution development (Out of Band Management, Redfish).
• Collaborate with teams to execute exhaustive validation plans simulating real workloads.
• Lead debugging, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution before production.
• Work with development teams to ensure issues are addressed pre-production.
• Advance end-to-end validation content with innovative debugging approaches.
