Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for hyperscale data center facilities across the US. The role emphasizes concrete and steel design, low embodied carbon strategies, and client-facing leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in building structures design and analysis.
• Licensed U.S. PE or SE required.
• Experience with data centers, mission critical facilities, or large-scale logistics/industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for hyperscale data center facilities.
• Develop design documentation for concrete panels, precast, steel framing, and foundations.
• Coordinate with architecture, civil, MEP, and construction teams.
• Prepare construction documents, specs, and calculations with quality and code compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers; engage with clients and contractors.
• Support business development and proposals; travel as needed.
