Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Staff Data Center Software Developer to design and build end-to-end applications for DataCenter Systems, covering web UI, backend services, APIs and databases. You will work across the stack (React, Python, SQL/NoSQL) and help deploy to cloud and Kubernetes environments while guiding technical direction.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, implement observability, security, and documentation, and partner with DevOps and InfoSec to deliver scalable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of full-stack development experience including production web UI/dashboard design and delivery.
• Strong skills in React and a UI/UX sensibility for dashboards.
• Strong backend skills in Python (Flask or FastAPI).
• Strong database design experience with SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Experience deploying apps in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud).
• Proficiency with Linux, containers, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and container-based deployment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Application Development: design and build end-to-end applications from web UI through backend services and data storage.
• Web UI & Dashboard Design: create dashboards for monitoring customer data and internal systems.
• API Design & Integration: design RESTful APIs and microservices for dashboards and provisioning.
• Database Engineering: develop schema, queries, and optimization for SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud Platform Deployment: deploy to AWS/Azure/GCP or private Kubernetes with Docker and Helm.
• Technical Leadership: set directions, mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions.
• Monitoring & Observability: implement logging, metrics, and dashboards for uptime.
• Security & Access Control: implement OAuth2/SSO/RBAC with InfoSec collaboration.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: write API references and design guidelines.
