Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with Oracle, seeks an experienced Data Center Technician in Reston, VA to manage complex hardware support, network configurations, and high‑level incident response. You will design and govern changes, drive standardization of SOPs/MOPs, and act as the primary escalation lead across teams.

The role partners withEngineering, Capacity, Networking, and Security to anticipate risks, implement improvements, and automate repeatable workflows.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• BS in CS/Info Systems or related certs.
• 2–5 years data center experience; 4 yrs for development.

Responsibilities

• Oversees servers lifecycle management and hardware maintenance.
• Lead network build planning and migrations; ensure cabling and connectivity.
• Own escalation queue and document resolutions within SLAs.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and change controls.
• Mentor and lead technicians and staff.
