Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Lithia Springs, GA seeks a Senior Project Scheduling Manager for data center projects nationwide. You will lead the Scheduling Department, ensure schedule integrity, and align with project goals and division standards.

The role requires expert P6 skills, coordination with Project Controls, Estimating, and Operations, and travel to sites. A strong background in electrical construction and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent field or trade experience considered.
• 10+ years of construction scheduling experience, 5+ years in leadership of schedulers.
• Extensive background in electrical construction and mission-critical/data center environments.
• Expert-level Primavera P6; strong MS Project and Excel knowledge.
• Experience managing scheduling across multiple large-scale projects.
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing and resource planning.
• Ability to travel as required; pass background and MVR checks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct Scheduling Department with consistent processes and schedules across Mission Critical projects.
• Serve as subject matter expert for scheduling best practices and planning strategy for electrical construction in data centers.
• Develop and maintain integrated master and project schedules with project teams and field leadership.
• Establish department-wide protocols for schedule development, updates, forecasting, look-ahead planning, and recovery.
• Perform schedule risk assessments, delay analysis, and reporting for executives and clients.
• Partner with Project Controls, Estimating, and Operations to support preconstruction, procurement schedules, and manpower forecasting.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to schedulers; promote team growth and accountability.
• Conduct audits, site visits, and coordination meetings to ensure milestone alignment.
• Travel to project sites as required.
