Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Scheduler for a confidential hyperscale data center client. The role involves evaluating developer schedules for realism, reviewing long-lead equipment, and ensuring robust evidence for all findings.

You will drive discipline in schedule reviews, risk identification, and template development. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in planning and scheduling, with P6 expertise and data center experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience, data center or mission-critical facility delivery preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and schedule analysis methods.
• Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) or similar progress-measurement methods.

Responsibilities

• Assess developer construction schedules: logic, critical path, float credibility, and sequencing.
• Review equipment and staffing plans behind a schedule, including long lead orders and resource loading.
• State clearly whether numbers/dates are confirmed, estimated, or assumed, and enforce the same standard across the team.
• Flag risks in schedules such as long-lead equipment, permitting, utility connections, and weather impacts.
• Track schedule movement and flag material variances and causes over multiple reviews.
• Assess recovery options where dates are at risk and distinguish real options from cosmetic fixes.
• Ensure clear handover of schedule records to onsite teams at construction start.
• Define the standard for defensible schedule reviews, checklists, and evidence depth.
