Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Project Manager to lead data center initiatives in Reno, NV. You will drive projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, team-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of project management experience in technical settings, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• PM experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security).
• Initiative – proactive behavior and solution-seeking.
• Strong analytical and conflict-resolution skills to resolve issues.
• Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate project aspects from award through completion.
• Translate customer needs into proposals and project implementation plans.
• Communicate project requirements to the project team and maintain accurate records.
• Act as our customer’s best service provider and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, services, and controls for timely completion.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and related activities.
