Job summary

Amazon's Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team seeks a Senior Manager to lead a multi‑team organization of Data Center Project Managers and Area Managers. You will set mission and long‑term strategy while empowering managers to own execution across global data center projects.

The role requires exceptional communication, data‑driven decision making, and the ability to translate electrical, mechanical, fire systems and building automation work into scalable programs for the Americas region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of team management and mentoring experience.
• 3+ years of managing managers experience.
• 10+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and strategy for the CPI organization, aligned to growth and scale of data center infrastructure.
• Lead a team of managers; hire, develop, and coach front-line managers; retain top performers.
• Own organizational delivery by prioritizing workload across teams based on impact and commitments.
• Define metrics and mechanisms to measure performance and drive decisions.
• Influence across the organization by building relationships with senior leaders to deliver priorities globally.
• Manage financials and headcount to match demand.
• Look around corners to expand CPI services into new geographies without impacting commitments.
• Maintain organizational health across the Americas region.
