Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the CPI organization of Data Center Project Managers and Area Managers, setting vision, managing scope, and aligning priorities with Safety, Capacity, Sustainability, and Availability across global data centers.

The role demands strategic leadership, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to leverage data to drive improvements, coach managers, and expand services into new geographies without impacting commitments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of team management and building (including coaching and mentoring) experience.
• 3+ years of managing managers experience.
• 10+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and strategy for CPI, with short- and long-term goals aligned to data center growth.
• Lead a team of managers: hire, develop, coach, and retain top performers.
• Own organizational delivery by prioritizing workload across teams by impact to safety, capacity, sustainability, and availability.
• Define metrics and mechanisms to measure performance and drive data-informed decisions.
• Influence across the organization by building relationships with senior leaders to deliver priorities as a global standard.
• Manage financials and headcount to match demand and ensure scalable growth.
• Expand CPI services into new geographies without impacting commitments.
• Oversee organizational health including culture, learning, development, engagement, and career growth across the Americas.
