Limiting Factor Group designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. The Electrical Engineer designs and supports electrical power systems for our data center and power generation sites, from the HV/MV utility connection to the LV equipment.

You will work on new site designs, expansions and upgrades, and you will stay involved through design, construction, testing and handover to the operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years designing power systems for data centers, industrial plants or other critical facilities.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and IEEE standards.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM or EasyPower.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsabilités

• Design and review medium- and low-voltage power distribution including substations, transformers, switchgear, generators, BESS, UPS and busway.
• Prepare and review single-line diagrams, load calculations, short-circuit and arc-flash studies.
• Write equipment specifications and review supplier submittals.
• Collaborate with utilities on interconnection and service capacity.
• Manage external electrical design firms and review their work.
• Support construction, testing and commissioning, and handover to operations.
• Investigate faults and support operations after handover.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC and NFPA 70E.
