Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Project Manager for a long-term, onsite contract in Richmond, VA. You will manage the engineering scope, schedule, and budget for datacenter power infrastructure projects, coordinating internal and external resources to meet capacity roadmaps.

The role requires 10+ years in consulting engineering or construction of substations and 5+ years as lead engineer or project manager of transmission or substation projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in consulting engineering or construction of substations.
• 5+ years as lead engineer, design manager or project manager of transmission or substation projects.
• Knowledge of Substation Bus configurations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams of engineers in advanced engineering and operational processes for large datacenter environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering scope, schedule, and budget for engineering/design projects.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for delivery of datacenter power infrastructure.
• Engage with stakeholders and outside vendors; lead for datacenter architecture/engineering.
• Oversee multiple concurrent distribution, substation, and transmission projects in line with scope, schedule, and budget.
