Job summary

DataX Connect is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a flagship hyperscale data center project in Richmond, Virginia. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budget, client relations, subcontractor management, procurement, and project teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Requirements include 3+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management, data center or critical facilities experience, and expertise with distribution systems. PMP/PMI-SP preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience.
• Data center, mission critical, telecommunications, or critical facilities project experience.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems, cabling infrastructure, and white space fit-outs.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project execution from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Manage project financials, change orders, billing, and forecasting.
• Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews.
• Lead project teams while mentoring and developing junior staff.
• Provide regular project updates to senior leadership.
• Support long-term workforce and resource planning initiatives.
