Job summary

MGAC is expanding its Critical Environments team in Ashburn, VA, and seeks a Data Center Construction- Mid to Senior Project Manager (Cost). You will lead high-visibility data center projects, manage schedule, scope, and budget, and serve as owner’s representative to resolve issues and guide informed decisions.

This role emphasizes on-site leadership 4-5 days per week in Ashburn. You will mentor teams, manage risk, and identify add-services opportunities while collaborating with clients, A&E

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction project management and understanding of design/construction processes.
• 2+ years of construction cost management experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing critical environment construction projects (data centers, labs, hospitals).
• MEP experience in ground-up construction.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the full scope of projects while coordinating components of others.
• Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule/budget recovery.
• Achieve and maintain the client’s vision as a trusted partner.
