Job summary

Paycom Software Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager to oversee daily DC activity at the OKC location. You will design deployments, document processes, and mentor junior staff to improve efficiency in a fast-paced data center environment.

Responsibilities include leading hardware deployments, writing SOPs, and coordinating with systems teams on power, cooling, and capacity requirements. This is a non-remote, full-time role with 24/7 shift coverage expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4-6 years of related experience in data centers.
• Knowledge of datacenter HVAC, CRAC, cooling technologies.
• Datacenter power, UPS, generator operations.
• Datacenter fire suppression systems and LAN/WAN.
• Structured Cabling and Ethernet/Fiber Cabling.
• Emerging Technology Trends and Best Practices.
• Tools for equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Data Center day-to-day.
• Assist with data center design and architecture.
• Write documentation and SOPs for Data Center Operations.
• Lead new hardware implementations with systems teams.
• Install network and systems equipment; rack, stack, cabling.
• Monitor power, cooling, and capacity; ensure uptime.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 shift and on-call rotations.
• Provide feedback to refine operational processes.
